Candidate Forum Oct 30th

HART has put together a candidate forum that will run from 6-9:30PM on October 30th in Thornton Wilder Hall at the Miller Library. The forum will cover Legislative Council seats in Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 in addition to the “At Large” Council seats and the Town Clerk position. The event will be moderated by Kenn Venit, Steve Kalb and Paul Knapp.

The format for the event will allow for opening statements by the candidates, followed by questions from the audience. We’ve organized the event into three phases to make it a little more manageable:

  • Districts 2, 3, and 4 from 6-7PM
  • At Large & Town Clerk from 7:15-8:15PM
  • Districts 1, 6, and 9 from 8:30-9:30PM

This is a great opportunity to meet the candidates for your District and “At Large” and will also help inform your decisions, come Election Day (which is right around the corner: November 6th). If you do not know what District you live in, please consult the Town of Hamden website
